Young Adult Ministry
Greetings to the Young Adult Community of Northeast PA and to the many visitors of this web site worldwide! Welcome to the homepage for Our Lady of the Snows. NEPA is not known for a vibrant young adult community but we're looking to change that. In these next few months we will be looking for some helping hands on bringing forth ministries that resonate with people 18 to 40, married or single. There are so many different avenues to get involve in young adult activities - spiritual, social and service orientated. There is something for everyone! We hope you find our web site helpful in finding those activities that will lead you to connect with Jesus Christ and His Church. I believe that God has big plans for this area's young adults. He will continue to renew the Church through the Catholic Young Adult Community of NEPA. Yet, we renew the Church by renewing ourselves. Pope Benedict XVI in his encyclical, Deus Caritas Est, God is Love, tells us, "Certainly, one can become a source from which rivers of living water flow. Yet to become such a source, one must constantly drink anew from the original source, which is Jesus Christ..."

Theology on Tap is a once a month speaker series for young adults 18-40, single and married. A casual forum where friends of all denominations and walks of life gather in local bars and restaurants for "straight talk, hard facts, and real answers" on our faith and how it applies to daily life. Come once or enjoy the entire series!

9:00 p.m.: Social
$5 cover at the door. No registration required.
